In May 2021, La Terre succeeded in bringing back to Tunisia two migrants’ bodies, M.H.K and M.K from Bizerte, through a complaint filed in Agrigento along with the Red Cross and Italian civil society organizations. The two migrants went missing in October 2019, and La Terre has been working with legal experts since that time. DNA from the mother of the two migrants, sent from Tunisia, was compared with the DNA of the two brothers in Agrigento.
